Booking Information

Deposit   We ask for 25% of the hire charge, please, to be paid immediately to confirm your booking. Telephone, fax and email bookings will be regarded as provisional and held for three working days pending receipt of your deposit.
Bookings made more than a year in advance will be regarded as provisional until either a) we get another enquiry for the same period or b) the end of October, in both cases we will then ask for confirmation and a deposit .

Balance.  We ask for the balance of the hire charge to be paid six weeks before the commencement of your holiday. You will be invoiced for this some two weeks before the balance is due. When you pay the balance of your booking charge we will send you a map and full instructions to find Le Rocher Rouge , along with information about the house and the area and the facilities so that you can make the most of your holiday.
Regretfully we have had to introduce a fully refundable house deposit of £100 to cover exceptional cleaning and any damage to the property and contents, and we ask that this be included in the balance in the form of a separate cheque which will not be cashed. Our agent will inspect the property after your departure and if the property is left in a clean and tidy condition with no damage your cheque will be returned in full.

Discounts.  We offer previous visitors returning for another holiday at Rocher Rouge a 5% discount, additionally if the booking is made and confirmed with a deposit during your holiday the current years pricing structure will be used.

Cancellations. In the event of a cancellation the hirer must advise us immediately, whereupon we will, without prejudice to our right to the balance in full, use our best efforts to re -let. If we can re -let we will return your deposit less any expenses incurred for advertising, office costs etc. If we cannot re -let, then the balance of your holiday is payable by the due date. It is unlikely that a refund can be made for a la tecancellation . We strongly recommend that you take out holiday cancellation insurance immediately . No one wants to pay for a holiday they cannot take, so please, do insure.

Arrival and Departure.  Arrival time is from 4.00 pmonwards, please do not plan toarrive before as we need time to service your accommodation, if you expect to arrive very much later please let us know. We ask that no one arrive after midnight so that other guests are not disturbed. Property must be vacated by10 .00amon the day of departure to enable servicing to begin, delays will be charged at the caretakers hourly rate (unless prearranged in writing with us ).

Booking Periods. Booking periods are normallySaturday to Saturday, especially during July and August,at other times of the year we can be more flexible and can usually negotiate something acceptable, charging periods are weekly, so incomplete weeks are charged at one fifth of the weekly rate per day.Longer periods and winter rates are also available, please ring to discuss. Bookings for both gites during July and August need to be made as soon as possible, i.e. before we accept bookings for individual units :due to heavy demand this may mean at least a year in advance.

Price Periods.  Annual tariffs take effect from the end of October, and all bookings made after then are at the next years rates, bookings made and confirmed with a deposit before the end of October are charged at the current years rates.

Pets.   Following some unfortunate incidents we no longer allow pets on site . (Sorry!)

Smoking.As we are non smokers we ask that smoking is restricted to out-doors only, and that especially there is no smoking in bedrooms:- we reserve the right to charge for additional cleaning should any rooms be heavily contaminated

Prices.   The prices quoted below are fully inclusive of linen hire and servicing of the unit after your departure - there are no extra charges.

Le Rocher Rouge - Prices - 2015 - Per Week - £Sterling (Euro)

Rates for both Gites are based on the sum of the individual units, but may vary depending on the number of people staying in each Maison. Where a booking crosses two price bands each week will be charged at its respective rate, if more than two price bands are covered please ring for a negotiated price.
Additional adults above the indicated occupancy figures are charged at £50 per person per week.

NB :- The above prices now include a servicing charge on your departure, but does not cover exceptional items as indicated in the "Balance" notes above. Additional cleaning during your stay can be arranged, but this must be made directly with the cleaning agency concerned on arrival, and costs incurred remitted directly to them.
